TV Retro needed a motion graphic promotional teaser featuring the theme song of the Muppet Show to make viewers aware of the show on the network’s viewing schedule. This particular promo teaser used kinetic type (animated) and “vector” style graphic elements to animate the opening theme song. Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Muppet Show!

PROCESS
For this project, I used Adobe After Effects to create the animated effects. I created hand-drawn illustrations and graphic elements to complement my moving type. I used Muppet-themed fonts such as Kernit and Jim Henson Font to create a familiar feel. I took inspiration from the original show's intro scene and utilized descriptive words within the theme to visualize the story. Creating this project was challenging as I had limited animation experience. I used transform effects as well as cameras within
After Effects to achieve fast-paced movement in the scene. Overall I am super proud of this animation
