The Riff Raff Laff Bash is an annual comedy festival held in London, Ontario. This festival features Canadian comedians, vendors, and food trucks, and has an attendance of 20,000 people over the 3-day weekend.

PROCESS 

Riff Raff Laff Bash is a loud, energetic celebration of comedy and laughter. This called for bright and bold colours mixed with comedic imagery. The logo is bold and simple, featuring a huge smile and a quirky typeface. The main imagery for this year’s festival is an exploding head which combines original black and white photography with grotesque illustrations. This image is seen across branding elements as well as merch. The colours play off the illustration, and ‘Slime Green’ and ‘Brain Pink’ are consistently used throughout branding elements. There is a heavy use of pure black, which emphasizes the complementary assets.
