Crafted in Ontario, Teddy Beer has mastered what it means to be local. Using Canadian-grown ingredients mixed with traditional brewing techniques, Teddy Beer creates exciting new flavour experiences that everyone will enjoy. They needed a logo, brand identity, package and display designs, and an awareness campaign.

PROCESS
To begin, I began playing with three styles; bold and edgy, classic Canadian, and vintage with a twist. The final design was bold and edgy, with a few hints of vintage Canadian. The logo is a sewing tag design to mimic how logos are shown on stuffed animals. I used a stitching theme throughout and created an illustration of a drunken bear mascot. I used bright colours that represented the flavour of each beer. I also used complimentary background illustrations of the special ingredients used. For the ads, I used bright yellow as the main colour, followed by a contrasting black, featuring original photography. I created table talkers to be used in their brewery bar, showcasing some delicious food I photographed and promptly ate, which also features this design. Finally, made an awareness campaign in partnership with Polar Bears International.
